The People Upstairs Poem By Ogden Nash! Ogden Nash captures the frustration of sharing a residence or condominium with humans who are loud. Having partitions that are linked skill listening to the whole lot that goes on the subsequent door or on the flooring above. This humorous poem captures some of the matters neighbors assume they hear from every other. People who’ve shared partitions with neighbors will rapidly relate to this poem. Those who’ve in no way had neighbors that shut will be grateful and choose to maintain it that way.
The People Upstairs Poem
The people upstairs all practise ballet
Their living room is a bowling alley
Their bedroom is full of conducted tours.
Their radio is louder than yours,
They celebrate week-ends all the week.
When they take a shower, your ceilings leak.
They try to get their parties to mix
By supplying their guests with Pogo sticks,
And when their fun at last abates,
They go to the bathroom on roller skates.
I might love the people upstairs more
If only they lived on another floor.
